Q: I want to write a book, but I’m too busy to do it myself.
What can you do for me?
A: Everything. We can capture your thoughts, ideas, and experiences, and turn
them into a professionally written and edited book, which we can then design
and manufacture for you.
Q: Will people be able to buy my book?
A: That’s up to you. Some of our work is for private
publication and is not made available to the public. Should you wish for your
book to be available, it will be assigned an international standard book number
(ISBN), and will be available through Amazon.
Q: When you talk about “special projects,” what exactly do
you mean?
A: A special project can be as simple as a one-page press
release, or it might be a highly complex, full-scale publishing operation. A
few years ago, for example, the managers of a Fortune 100 corporation decided
at the last minute that they wanted to distribute a daily newspaper in their
exhibit hall at a major international trade show. The show was in Germany,
so they wanted the paper to be bilingual, half in German and half in English.
They also wanted to put up daily briefings on the Internet, including streaming
video.
To meet their needs, we found a printer in Düsseldorf who
could handle the job. We arranged for copy to be trafficked among a team of
translators, another team of German industry experts to oversee usage and
vocabulary, and the printer. Then we went over ourselves with a team of writers
and editors, a webmaster, a photographer, a video crew, and an on-camera reporter.
Q: What do you charge?
A: It varies. Once we understand the task at hand, we
provide a complete project budget, including all services and ancillary
expenses. We don’t like surprises, and neither do our clients.
